Good morning!
I hope that all of you guys had an amazing weekend and are ready to kick some big bootie this week. I’ve decided that every Seeds Of Success newsletter will be released on a Monday morning so that one of the first things you see when you check your inbox is something positive, uplifting, and hopefully empowering.
If you’ve been following my brand for a minute, you’ll know that I’m a big fan of the term “It’s A Mindset.” The reason for this is that your mindset is the foundation for all past, present, and future success that you have in the world. If you don’t build the right base for yourself in life, you will never truly live a fulfilling life.
But, what is a success mindset? And what steps can you take to build one? Let’s dive into it a little deeper.
What Is A Success Mindset?
To have a powerful mindset means to be in the frame of mind that you fully believe in yourself and your capabilities to achieve whatever you set your priorities to, to love yourself, to be positive-minded, and to see failures as learning opportunities.
How Can We Build A Success Mindset?
Building the right foundation really starts by understanding our deepest-rooted human desires. At their core, they are:
To find the optimal place to live.
To learn about how to get in the best possible shape/overall health.
To find someone that we love and care for, and to discover/maintain self-love.
To have a really good supporting cast of people that can make us laugh, people who can help us when we cry, and generally people who bring out the best in us.
To travel to really cool places, see cool things, and change our perspectives on the world.
To have a job that makes us happy and to wake up every day excited to practice our career and continuously improve in it.
If you can make it a point to answer all 6 of these fundamental questions, you will develop characteristics and traits that lead you to live not only a successful life but a fulfilled one (yes, they’re different).
Every big change starts with a small decision (a seed) to be better than you were before. With each planted seed (i.e. each small step forward) comes a stronger foundation, more purpose, more self-love, and infinite amounts of success.
So on this Monday morning, I tell you: get after it this week. Set goals, work hard, be better than yesterday, and dream big. Life is too short to do anything except for what makes your heart sing.
Happy Monday Fam.
